Rough Top & Wavy Top Conveyor Belt
Manufactured by HILFLEX® in India to IS 1891 and DIN 22102
A smooth belt is fine for loose bulk material, but boxes, cartons and bags tend to slide on it, especially on a slope or when the line stops and starts. A rough top conveyor belt solves this with a textured rubber surface that holds the load in place.
HILFLEX® rough top and wavy top belts are made for packing plants, warehouses and logistics units where packed goods have to move steadily without slipping or falling off.

Rough top or chevron: which one?
For packed goods on a mild slope, a rough top surface usually gives enough grip. For steeper inclines, or for loose bulk material, a chevron conveyor belt with raised cleats is the better choice. For very steep or vertical lifts, look at a sidewall conveyor belt.
Details we need
What you are carrying (size and weight of the box or bag), incline angle, belt width and length, and whether the line runs indoors or in the open.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between rough top and wavy top?
Both give grip. Rough top has a fine textured surface; wavy top has a raised wave pattern. We suggest one based on your load and slope.
Can rough top belts carry loose material?
They can, but loose material is better handled on a plain belt or a chevron belt, which is easier to clean.
Do you supply these belts across India?
Yes, we supply across India from our plants in Indore and Jalandhar.
