Strong sun and dust
Many conveyors in Rajasthan run in the open. Summer sun heats the belt surface and dust gets between belt and pulley. A thicker top cover gives more life on such belts. Keep spare belts rolled and stored in shade, and avoid storing them near fuel or oil.
