Salt, soda ash and sea air

Salt is mildly abrasive and always wet, and soda ash is alkaline. Rubber handles both well if the cover is thick enough and the belt is washed down regularly. Where acids, alkalis or solvents touch the belt, move to our chemical resistant grade. Near coal and pet coke handling at ports, oil from machinery can also reach the belt, and an oil resistant cover lasts longer there.

Quartz and feldspar are abrasive, so use SAR grade. Clay and body mix can run on M-24 grade.
