A cement plant does not run on one type of belt. Limestone comes in as big boulders, clinker comes out of the cooler hot, coal needs fire safety, and cement bags need grip. Each section wears a belt out in its own way, so the grade should change with the section.

What goes wrong most often in cement plants
- Clinker belts hardening and cracking when a normal grade is used on hot material. A heat resistant grade avoids this.
- Fast top cover wear on limestone lines. SAR grade gives longer wear life on very abrasive stone.
- Cover cuts at the crusher from falling boulders. A breaker ply belt protects the carcass.

Frequently asked questions
Which belt is best for hot clinker?
Heat resistant SHR grade for hot clinker, and UHR grade where temperatures go up to 300°C. Tell us the clinker temperature at the belt and we will suggest the grade.
Can one belt grade work for the whole cement plant?
It can run, but it will not last equally everywhere. Choosing the grade section by section usually gives longer belt life overall.
Do you supply cement plants outside Madhya Pradesh?
Yes, we supply across India.
