Sidewall Conveyor Belt for Steep Incline and Vertical Lifts
Manufactured by HILFLEX® in India to IS 1891 and DIN 22102
When there is no room for a long, gentle conveyor, material has to go up steeply. A normal belt, or even a chevron belt, cannot hold loose material at that angle. A sidewall conveyor belt can.
HILFLEX® sidewall belts have flexible corrugated walls along both edges and cleats across the belt. Together they form pockets that hold the material, so it can climb steep slopes without spilling. This saves floor space and cuts down transfer points.

Sidewall, chevron or rough top?
Use a rough top belt for packed goods on mild slopes, a chevron belt for bulk material on moderate inclines, and a sidewall belt when the incline is steep or close to vertical.
Details we need
Material and lump size, capacity, incline angle, lift height, belt width, and your conveyor layout if available.
Frequently asked questions
Can sidewall belts run vertically?
Sidewall belts are used on very steep and near-vertical lifts, depending on the material and conveyor design.
Do sidewall belts reduce spillage?
Yes. The sidewalls and cleats form pockets that keep material on the belt.
Can the base belt be heat resistant?
Yes, the base belt cover can be chosen for heat or oil as per your material.
